Official Contest Rules — AD Café x TIFF Giveaway

By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Rules.

1. Sponsor

The Contest is administered by AD Café, located at 1147 Davenport Road, Toronto, Ontario (the “Sponsor”).

‍

2. Contest Period

The Contest begins on August 30, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. EST and ends on September 12, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. EST (the “Contest Period”).

‍

3. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, representatives, or agents of AD Café, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or household members are not eligible.

‍

4. How to Enter

During the Contest Period, each guest who:

Spends $30 CAD (before taxes and gratuities) or more in a single transaction at AD Café, and
Provides their full name and a valid email address at the time of purchase

will receive one (1) contest entry.

Limit: One entry per $30 transaction. Multiple entries permitted with multiple qualifying purchases.

5. No Purchase Entry Option

To enter without purchase, print your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address on a plain piece of paper and mail it in a stamped envelope to:

Entries must be received by September 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. EST.

6. Prize

One (1) prize is available to be won: Two (2) tickets to the TIFF screening of “Rental Family” on September 13, 2024 at 9:30 p.m. EST at Scotiabank Theatre, Toronto.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $60 CAD.
Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption is permitted.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

On September 12, 2024 at approximately 7:00 p.m. EST, one (1) eligible entry will be randomly selected from all entries received during the Contest Period.
The selected entrant will be notified via the email address provided at entry.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
1. Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, and
2. Sign and return a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release (if requested).

If the selected entrant does not respond within 48 hours, is deemed ineligible, or fails to meet the requirements above, another entrant may be selected.

8. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

9. Publicity

By entering, you consent to the Sponsor’s use of your name, city of residence, and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected for this Contest will be used only to administer the Contest and will be handled in accordance with AD Café’s Privacy Policy.

11. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Contest at any time in the event of fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
