Participation in this Contest constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.
The Contest is administered by [AD Legal Name, Full Address] (“Sponsor”).
The Contest is open only to individuals who:
are legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec,
are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry, and
are physically present at the TIFF Opening Night Party during the Contest Period.
Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, TIFF, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling, child) and household are not eligible.
The Contest begins on [Start Date, Start Time ET] and ends on [End Date, End Time ET] (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be submitted while physically attending the TIFF Opening Night Party.
During the Contest Period, attendees of the TIFF Opening Night Party may enter in one of the following ways:
Newsletter Sign-Up (Primary Entry):
Sign up for the AD newsletter by scanning the QR code on-site or providing your email at the AD iPad station.
Photo Share (Bonus Entry):
Take a photo in or of the AD installation.
Post it on Instagram (Feed or Story), follow @archidisegno [and @1147, if confirmed], tag @archidisegno, and use #ADxTIFF.
Photo Station (Bonus Entry):
Visit the AD photo station at the TIFF Opening Night Party.
Have your photo taken by the event photographer. Guests will register their email to receive the photo digitally or as an instant print, which also counts as an entry.
Limit: one (1) newsletter entry per person, plus up to two (2) bonus entries (Instagram + photo station). Entries submitted by non-attendees or outside of the event will not be valid.
There is one (1) prize available to be won:
An exclusive dinner experience courtesy of AD, valued at $2,500 CAD (the “Prize”).
The Prize must be accepted as awarded, has no cash value, and is not transferable or substitutable, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
On or about [Draw Date], one (1) eligible entrant will be randomly selected from all valid entries submitted on-site during the Contest Period.
The selected entrant will be notified via:
Direct message on Instagram (for social entries), or
Email (for newsletter or photo station entries).
To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
Respond to the notification within 48 hours;
Correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance;
Complete and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Release form (if requested).
Failure to comply will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received from attendees during the Contest Period.
By entering, participants:
Confirm that they were physically present at the TIFF Opening Night Party when entering.
Consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the administration of this Contest and for receiving marketing communications from the Sponsor (you may unsubscribe at any time).
Grant the Sponsor the right to use their name, Instagram handle, submitted photos, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Release the Sponsor, TIFF, Instagram, and their respective affiliates and representatives from any liability arising out of participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the Prize.
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or TIFF.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend this Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations of Ontario and Canada.
